Obituary*24 Jul 2003 Robert A. Culpepper rode on to ride for the Lord on July 3, 2003. A tall man, quiet yet strong, loving husband, father and grandfather. A man who lived the Western Life to the fullest, whether at home with his cherished family and friends, or out in the mountains with only God's creatures to talk to.
     Robert was born on July 5, 1952 to Sara and Roger Culpepper in Caldwell County, Texas. He grew up an avid outdoorsman, earning the Eagle Scout Rank and Vigil Honors in the Order of the Arrow "Bobby" went on to apply these skills in the agricultural, ranching and trucking fields, retiring from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department after many happy years in West Texas.
     Robert leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 26 years, Jerrie K. (Jake); beloved children, daughter Shannon and husband Chad Huebner of Columbus, TX; daughter Sandra and husband Joe Roy Niemann of Lockhart; son, Dustin Culpepper of Alpine; mother, Sara Culpepper of Bateman; brother, Randy Culpepper and wife Linda of Bateman; four grandchildren, Lauren Culpepper, Wyatt Huebner, Cheyenne and Callynn Niemann.
     "Culpepper" will also be missed by his large extended family, family, nieces, nephews and countless friends. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Roger Culpepper of Bateman.
     Funeral services were held at Bateman Baptist Church at Bateman Cemetery on July 7. Pallbearers were John Fuqua, Gary Duran, Larry Wilkerson, Harris Clanton, Eddie Walker, Dennis Yadon, Danny Bisbee, and Mike Pearson.
     Honorary pallbearers were Charles Wade and Sharon Miers. The Culpepper family would like to thank everyone for their amazing support and love. Memorial contributions may be made to the Buffalo Trails Scout Ranch (BTSR) in memory of Robert, 1101 W. Texas Ave., Midland, TX 79701 or The Christian Motorcycle Association, P.O. Box 9, Hatfield, Arkansas 71945.3
