DNA* From DNA and genealogical evidence we conclude that William Culpepper of Warren Co., GA is a descendant of Robert Culpepper, Jr., who is a grandson of Henry Culpepper of Lower Norfolk, VA. 
Birth*circa 1788 William was born at Wilkes Co., Georgia, circa 1788. 
 He was the son of Daniel Culpepper of Warren Co., GA and Sarah (?)
Land Lottery1805 William participated in but did not win the land lottery in 1805 at Warren Co., Georgia.1 
War of 1812*between 1813 and 1814 He served in the War of 1812 between 1813 and 1814
(Nathan and William Culpepper both reportedly served in the 12th Regiment of the Georgia Militia. However, this is not shown in the War of 1812 database at Ancestry.com, and the original source document is unknown. Thus, the authenticity of this claim is in question.). 
Marriage*5 Jun 1817 He married Mary Heath at Warren Co., Georgia, on 5 Jun 1817.2 
Tax roll*1818 William registered to pay taxes at Warren Co., Georgia, in 1818. 
Will3 Apr 1819 In Daniel Culpepper of Warren Co., GA's will on 3 Apr 1819 at Warren Co., Georgia, Sarah, William, Daniel, Robert, Joseph, Dickinson, Benjamin, Mariner, Martha and Argent was named as an heir.3 
1820 Census*7 Aug 1820 William was listed as the head of a family on the 1820 Census at Warren Co., Georgia.4 
Land Lottery1821 He had a fortunate draw in the land lottery in 1821 at Warren Co., Georgia, (lot 54-10 in Dooly Co., GA).5 
Death*1827 He died at Warren Co., Georgia, in 1827. 
Land Lottery*1832  The orphans of William Culpepper were fortunate drawers in (1) the 1832 Georgia Gold Lottery for lot 354/18/2 in what became Cobb Co., GA, and (2) the 1832 Cherokee Land Lottery for lot 71/22/3 in what became Cass (later Bartow) Co., GA. in 1832 at Warren Co., Georgia.6,7 
Biography* William served in the 12th Regiment of Georgia Militia during the War of 1812. He died in Warren County, GA in 1827. On November 5, 1827, Miles Pate applied for letters of administration on the estate of William Culpepper, late of said (Warren) County, deceased (Genealogical Abstracts from the GA Journal Newspaper, 1809-1840, Fred R. Hartz). And from the same source, we find in February 1828, "Richard Heeth, Sr. applies for letters of administration on the estate of William Culpepper, late of said county, deceased," and later "In Warren County, at the late residence of William Culpepper, deceased, will be sold on the 29th of March next, all the personal property of said deceased. (Signed) Richard Heeth, Sr. Administrator."

William's children are known from an 1832 Guardian's Bond in Warren County. It is found in the Court of Ordinary Minutes, Book 1817 - 1833, Page 165. David Mims was appointed guardian of the orphans of William Culpepper, who were Amanda, Daniel, Manuel, and William. Witness was Thomas Gibson, and bondsmen were Solomon Wilder and Ishmael Broom. It was both dated and recorded on 4 December 1832 in Warren County, GA.
