Land Lottery*23 May 1827 He had a fortunate draw in the land lottery on 23 May 1827 at Crawford Co., Georgia, (lot 25-10 in Troup Co., GA).2 
1830 Census*1 Jun 1830 Isaiah was listed as the head of a family on the 1830 Census at Randolph Co., Georgia.3 
Marriage*13 Dec 1835 He married Elmira W. Sullivan at Crawford Co., Georgia, on 13 Dec 1835.4 
Adoption*circa 1836 He became Wesley Berry Sullivan's adoptive father circa 1836. 
Death*22 Dec 1840 He died at Crawford Co., Georgia, on 22 Dec 1840.

     1 Mar 1841: Almira appointed Administratrix.
Security: Berry Sullivan. Bond $6,000. (Guardian Bonds, Book A, p. 190)
     1 Mar 1841: Almira W. Culpepper as Administratrix granted leave to sell the perishable property (Inferior Court Minutes, page 62)
     6 Sep 1841: Lewis Hicks, who intermarried with Almira Culpepper, widow of the deceased, in right of his wife was appointed Administrator on his giving bond and security (Inferior Court Minutes, page 74)
     4 Jan 1842: Mary W. Slater petitioned the court for title to one half of Lot 56 in Knoxville which the deceased had previously given title to William Millirons. On 7 Mar 1842, the title was transferred as requested. (Inferior Court Minutes, pages 91 & 100)
     2 May 1842: Lewis Hicks granted leave to sell all lands of the estate. (Inferior Court Minutes, page 107)
     13 Jan 1845: Aaron Shurley, Daniel Culpepper, L. W. Hicks and S. S. Wright as freeholders distribute estate property to Lewis F. Hicks in right of his wife and Wesley Culpepper, minor. Hicks also appointed guardian of Wesley. A negro woman sold by the deceased to Littleberry D. Causey was taken back. (Inferior Court Minutes, pages 186-187)
     2 Nov 1846: Lewis Hicks was dismissed as Wesley's Guardian and on 1 Mar 1847, Berry Sullivan was appointed as his replacement (Inferior Court Minutes, pages 241 and 258) On 4 Nov 1850, guardianship was switched back to Lewis Hicks. (Inferior Court Minutes, page 39).
