Mr. Joseph Landon "Junior" Moore Jr., 73, of Grantville died Jan 2, 1997 at Starcrest of Newnan. Born Sept. 7, 1923 in Carroll County, Mr. Moore was the son of the late Joseph Landon Moore Sr. and Mary Lou )Hogan) Moore. He was a member of Grantville First Baptist Church. Mr. Moore was a retired driver for Blue Flame Gas and had worked for R.D. Cole Company in Newnan. Funeral Services were held Jan. 4 at McKoon Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Dean officiating. Interment followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan with Don Smith, Joey Smith, Curtis Mote, Charles Wright, Tom Vanderhorst, James Newby, Carl Smith and Bobby Lane serving as pallbearers. Survivors include his wife, Jane Helen (Smith) Moore of Grantville; daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy (Linda) Culpepper of Newnan; sons, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald (Diane) Moore of Rex, Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Connie) Moore of Villa Rica; sisters, Kathleen Shaddinger of Conley, Martha Osburn of Warner Robins; brothers, Donald Moore of Newnan, Harold Moore of Clover, S.C., Max Moore of Grantville; and grandchildren, Stanford Landon Moore, Elizabeth Ruth Moore, Jennifer Lynn Culpepper, Brittany Nicole Culpepper, Gene Culpepper, Lauren Lou Moore, Lindsay Newby Moore and Joseph Landon Moore III.
