Obituary*24 Mar 2007 VICTORIA - Jeffrey Culpepper, 38, of Victoria, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007, in Brooks County. He was born on July 10, 1968, in Victoria, to John and Colleen (Hale) Culpepper.

Jeffrey was a wonderful husband, father and son. He was an accomplished fisherman who had a great passion for fishing and the outdoors. Jeffrey was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church of Victoria and worked for The Hanover Company for seven years as the 3rd party lead mechanic.

Jeffrey met and married Maria Serrano in Cumana, Venezuela on June 11, 1999.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Culpepper; one son, Jeffrey Randal Culpepper of Morris, Okla; and two daughters, Randi and Sarah Culpepper of Victoria; father, John Culpepper and wife Linda of Red Rock; mom, Carole Culpepper of Austin; grandparents, Dorothy Sachs of Joplin, Mo., and Sarah E. Culpepper of Red Rock; and sisters, Bambi Maugham of Del Valle, Theresa Watts of Salt Lake City, Pamela Vasquez of Victoria, Jess Wilson of South Daytona, Fla., and Memory Sheehan of Victoria.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Bateman Baptist Church in Bateman with Rev. Jeff Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Bateman Cemetery.

Arrangements were made under the care and guidance of McCurdy Funeral Home, 105 E. Pecan St., Lockhart, 512-398-4791.2
