Land Grant/Patent*12 Jan 1897 He was granted land on 12 Jan 1897 at Geneva Co., Alabama.5

Biography* Moses and his family moved from Monroe Co., AL, to Pike Co., and then to Geneva Co., where he bought 110 acres of land for $300. He and his wife lived there for the rest of their lives. The homeplace is still there (1999).7
