"I was married to him on the 6th day of July 1865 in the county of Dale, state of Alabama." Her age is 72 years, born in Henry County Ala. Resided in Texas 36 years, resided in present county 36 years. Post Office Gilmer, Texas R # 3. Yes husband drew a pension #23050. States husband's full name as Benjamin Franklin Culpepper, Date of death March 25, 1917. Affidavit of Witnesses were W. D. Barber and C. M. Davis. County Tax Assessor states property values at One Thousand dollars and Two hundred fifteen dollars. Signed W. H. Blackstone 5 May 1917.

Barber who was related to the pensioner as (this part filled in line as) wife's Mother or Mother-in-law. A friend, J. B. Oliver signed the warrant 17 Dec 1924. J. B. Oliver is also the Undertaker. Her physician was H. J?. Childress. Attended her for 3 or 4 years and listed her death as 'cancer of Breast'..8,2,10 
Burial*circa 14 Dec 1924 Her body was interred circa 14 Dec 1924 at Walnut Creek Cemetery, Upshur Co., Texas.2
