 He was the son of Henry Culpepper of Norfolk Co., VA and Sarah (?).

Marriage*7 Dec 1812 He married Martha Owens at Norfolk Co., Virginia, on 7 Dec 1812. 
War of 1812*between 1813 and 1814 He served in the War of 1812 between 1813 and 1814
(A Henry Culpepper served in the Virginia Militia in both the 1st Regiment (Clarke's) and the 9th Regiment (Sharp's). It is not known whether or not one of these service records belongs to a different Henry.).2 
1820 Census*7 Aug 1820 Henry was listed as the head of a family on the 1820 Census at Norfolk Co., Virginia.3 
1830 Census*1 Jun 1830 Henry was listed as the head of a family on the 1830 Census at Norfolk Co., Virginia. Enumerated in the census but otherwise not identified are 1 F0-5 and 7 slaves.4 
Death*before 1840 He died at Norfolk Co., Virginia, before 1840. 
Biography* 15 Feb 1813 -- Henry Sr. willed to his son Henry Jr. the plantation and house "where I now live containing 60 acres, one gun, and one feather bed." This was the 60 acres left to Henry Sr. by his father Thomas Culpepper in 1785.

8 Nov 1817 -- Deed Bk 47, p 226. Henry Culpepper (Jr) and wife Martha to John Collins for $330, 33 acres inherited by Martha from her father, the late Zachariah Owens.

From the 1820 and 1830 censuses, Henry seems to have had three daughters. Only one, Sarah Ann, has been identified, as her [apparent] brother Zachariah was surety to her marriage bond. 
Research note*28 Apr 2004 Henry E. Culpepper is a known son of Henry Culpepper.
