Will*12 Jul 1816 He made a will at Norfolk Co., Virginia, on 12 Jul 1816.
(In the name of God amen I Willoughby Culpepper of the State of Virginia and County of Norfolk being sick in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to Almighty God for it, do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament, in manner and form as following.

First I give and bequea. to my Son Thomas Willoughby Culpepper all my manor plantation with the houses, orchards and all other privileges as I now hold to the said plantation containing one hundred acres more or less, one han. mill six winsor chairs and feather bed and stead one side board, three stocks of Bees and one hundred acres of land laying and being in the head of Deep Creek formerly the wright of John Wellebough to him and his Heirs forever.

I give and bequeath to my grandson Joshe Hodges fifty acres of land lying on the head of Deep Creek being part of the survey of Culpepper and Thudreys [Rothery] to him and his heirs forever.

I give and bequeath to my granson Mathias Hodges fifty acres of land lying on the head of Deep Creek out of the survey of Culpepper and Thoderys [Rothery] to him and his heirs forever.

I leave the rest of my personal Estate to be sold to the first bider and the money arising therefrom after all my just debts are paid to be equl devided between my three grandchildren Polly Joshen [?] and Mathias Hodges or their Heirs.

I also do ordain and appoint my son Thomas Willoughby Culpepper my sole Executor to this my last Will and testmen wherefore I do denie and revoke all wills or wills heretoby me made or assigns and acknowledg this to be my last will and testament. As witness hereunto I have set my hand and affixed my seal this twelth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixteen.

At a Court held for Norfolk County the 16th day of March 1818 The last Will and Testament of Willoughby Culpepper dec'd was proved by the oath of John Ballentine and Jeremiah Bracket witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.

Death*1818 He died at Norfolk Co., Virginia, in 1818.
