A native of Ocilla, GA, he lived in Columbia County for the past 28 years. He served 22 years in the US Army and was a veteran of both WW-II and Korea. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary McMahan Culpepper of Grovetown; two daughters, Miss Patricia Culpepper of Decatur, GA, and Miss Janet Culpepper of Grovetown; three sons, David E. Culpepper of Carrollton, GA, and Robert E. Culpepper and Richard E. Culpepper of Grovetown; four sisters, Mrs. G. C. Berner of Jacksonville, FL, Mrs. C. G.
