Note* Charles C. and Thomas Francis Culpepper lived near each other in Worth Co. in 1900 and appear to have been brothers. But this relationship and their parentage has not been proven. Charles was in the household of Mack Calhoun in the censuses of 1870 and 1880, and Mack's wife Elizabeth appears to be the mother of Charles, in spite of Charles being identified as a nephew of Mack's in 1880.
