     JOAQUIN, TEXAS - Services for Mr. Palton C. "Pepper" Culpepper, 81, of Joaquin, well be held at 11 a.m. Thursday 24 Mar 1988 at the First United Methodist Church in Joaquin. The Rev. Harsher! Ramsey will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Robert D. Warr. Burial will be at Jackson Cemetery near Joaquin. Mr. Culpepper died Tuesday evening 22 Mar 1988, at his residence following o lengthy illness. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Joaquin and a former resident of Shreveport, LA. Pepper was employed with Mobil Oil for 36 years as a foreman m the Pipeline Division. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louie Culpepper of Joaquin; a son, David Culpepper of Longview, Texas; a daughter, JoAnne Culpepper of Shreveport, LA; a sister, Mrs. Armetta Martin of Shreveport; and a number of nieces and nephews..4
