Biography* R. B. Culpepper, long-time Phillips employee, passed away in Oklahoma City 15 Apr 1956, following an extended illness. R. B. was born in Weldon, Louisiana 7 Jul 1897, and first began working for Phillips of the Homer plant 8 Aug 1928. On 1 Mar 1935, he transferred to the Meter section in the Oklahoma City area and spent over twenty years in this department as a meterman. Survivors are his wife, Berdell of the home and two daughters, Mrs. Joycelyn Scott of Fairfax, Oklahoma and Mrs. Billie Jean Howerton of Oklahoma City.1
