Volume I, Page 285; Benjamin Culpepper Family Data lists a daughter named Nancy married to Montevillo Ray. No dob given for Nancy. Inventories & Appraisements Dooly Co 1838-1847, Page 3: a Montrevilla Ray was listed as one of the buyers of the estate of Orman Eubanks in 1840. Also listed as a buyer is Benjamine Culpepper. Page 2 lists James & Joel Culpepper as purchasers of the estate of William Hall in 1838. Volume II, Page 5 is the index of the Minutes Book "A": Benjamine Sr., decd., M. Ray adm., lists numerous pages in Book "A". Jane, orphan of Benjamine Culpepper, M. Ray guardian, lists 3 pages where information is found. Benjamine Jr., o. of Benjamine Culpepper, M. Ray guard., page 157A. The above info does indicate a definite connection to this M. Ray & Benjamin Culpepper. That's why I think that Nancy is probably the oldest daughter (named after her mother).
