Benjamin Sampson Culpepper in Mar 1852 at Georgia (It appearing to the court at the March Term 1852 of this court Letters of Guardianship for the person and property of Benjamin Culpepper Junr orphan and minor of Benjamin Culpepper Senr was granted to Montraville Ray and whereas the said Montraville Ray has removed to parts unknown it is therefore ordered that Letters of Guardianship for the person and property of the said Benjamin Culpepper Junr Orphan as aforesaid ??? to Robert D. Sinclair on his giving bond and security in the sum of Sixteen Hundred Dollars.
     It appearing to the court that at the March Term 1852 of the court Letters of Guardianship for the person and property of Jane Culpepper orphan and minor of Benjamin Culpepper Senr deceased was granted to Montraville Ray and whereas the said Montraville Ray has removed to parts unknown the said Jane Culpepper being over fourteen years of age appeared in open court and made choice of Robert D. Sinclair for her guardian. It is therefore ordered that the said Robert D. Sinclair be and he is hereby appointed guarian of the person and property of the said Jane Culpepper on his giving bond and security in the sum of Sixteen Hundred Dollars

Whereas application has been made by Robert D. Sinclair administrator on the Estate of Benjamin Culpepper late of said county deceased for leave to sell all the Lands and Negroes belonging to said Estate of said deceased in terms of the statute in such cases made and provided and no objections having been filed and whereas it appearing further to this court that a proper divison of the Negroes belonging to said Estate can not be effected among and between the distributees of said Estate without a sale thereof and that a sale of the lands belonging to said Estate of the said deceased will be for the benefit of the heirs and distributees and creditors of said deceased be it therefore ordered by said Court that said administrator has leave to sell the Land and
netroes belonging to said Estate of said deceased he first complying with the statute in such cases made and provided by giving notice of said sale (last two words missing from my copy)).
