(Henry gave his wife Sarah the whole estate during her widowhood; to his son Henry the plantation and house "where I now live containing 60 acres," and one gun and featherbed; to his daughter Martha, one bed and bedstead; to his daugther Margaret, one bed and bedstead; to his daughter Sally, one bed and bedstead; to his daughter Nancy, $30; to this daughter Mary, one bed and heifer. All of the above to go to children at the death or remarriage of wife Sarah. Executor: son Henry Culpepper.).2

Biography* 10 Jun 1759 -- Norfolk Tithables, Portsmouth to Batchelor's Mill, "Thos. Culpaper, Henery Culpaper & Willoughby Culpaper" (same household), three tithes. This is the first mention of Henry in the tithes, so he must have just turned aged 16.

20 Jul 1786 -- Henry's father Thomas left him 60 acres of land running along the line that Thomas made between his son's Willoughby and Henry, and also 50 acres "of the survey of mine and Rudery."

18 Mar 1796 -- Deed Bk 39, p 104. Henry Culpepper and wife Sarah to John Kearnes for £6, 50 acres on the south side of Deep Creek adj. John and Robert Culpepper, land from my father Thomas Culpepper. Wit: Stephen Marchant, Jonathan Denby, Francis Williamson. 
Research note*26 Apr 2004 Henry is a known son of Thomas Culpepper.
