Blaney Culpepper
Male, #7216, (circa 1847 - )
| Birth* | circa 1847 | Blaney was born at Darlington District, South Carolina, circa 1847. |
| | He was the son of 1st Lt. A. Fuller Culpepper and Malvina H. (?). |
| (household member) 1870 Census | 1 Jun 1870 | Blaney was listed as a household member living with George W. Culpepper on the 1870 Census at Darlington Co., South Carolina.1 |
| Research note* | | In 1870 Darlington Co., SC, Blaney Culpepper was household 138, and George W. Culpepper was household 136. Both men were aged 23, and both households shared the same dwelling. This would suggest that they may have been twins, or, due to an error by the census taker, they might have been one and the same person. Blaney does not show up in the 1860 census of Darlington as a son of "A." Culpepper, but George W. does. Further research is needed. Blaney's apparent son Robert shows up in George W.'s family in 1880, and there is no further record of Blaney. A five-year-old Blaney Culpepper appears in the 1870 census, living with 60 year old Malvina Culpepper, the mother of this Blaney.
