Marriage*25 Dec 1884 He married Eliza Clementine Culpepper at Faulkner Co., Arkansas, on 25 Dec 1884. 
Death*4 Oct 1925 He died at Turrell, Crittenden Co., Arkansas, on 4 Oct 1925. James died from food poisoning. He had traveled to Turrell by train to visit his son Asa. When he arrived he was ill. He was taken to Asa's home in Turrell where he died..2 
Burial*say 7 Oct 1925 His body was interred say 7 Oct 1925 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Faulkner Co., Arkansas.2
