First I give and bequeath unto my Nephew James Spratt and his heirs one negro boy named Jacob forever. Second I give unto my sister Catherine Culpepper one bed and bed stead & furniture, one trunk & twenty dollars in cash. Third I give & bequeath unto James Spratt Jr. & Paul Cherry all my right & title in a plantation lying on Julius Creek & what money that Mr. Henry Deal is due me to be equally divided between them forever. Fourthly I give and bequeath unto my sister Faithey Messley one wollen [?] counterpiece one loom and implements for ever, Fifth I give unto my sister Mary Cherry one large chest forever. Sixth I forgive the debt that Joseph West [?] is due me and Sister Catherine as I have made her amends for what he was due her & Seventh it is my will that my brother John Culpepper have a right made him for my rights in the plantation that he now lives on by my heirs, I have rec'd pay for the same from him and neglected to make my ought [?] Eighth and last it is my will that Henry Spratt shall pay all my funeral expenses & Doctors charges. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affix'd my seal this 28th of Sept 1829.
