| Biography* | Clyde Edison Culpepper, 76, the former owner and operator of Fisherman's Paradise, died 13 May 1991, in a Chesapeake hospital. Mr. Culpepper, a native of Norfolk County, was a member of Missionary Holiness Church in Chesapeake. Survivors include his wife, Edna Jean Culpepper; a daughter, Betty Kuykendall of Moyock; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Dixon of Chesapeake; three stepsons, Charles Cahoon and William Cahoon, both of Chesapeake and Jerry Cahoon of Lumberton, N.C; three sisters, Annie Jones of Norfolk, Myrtle Meixner of California and Phoebe Allen of Stafford, Va; two half-brothers, Norman Taylor of Farmville, Va. and William E. Taylor of Chesapeake; and a grandchild. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Missionary Holiness Church by the Rev. C. David Hayes. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park in Elizabeth City. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, and at other times at the home of Dorothy Dixon, 1041 Vanderloeg Drive, Chesapeake.
