Biography* Obituary:
Anderson. Mrs. Frances Lollis Culpepper, age 80, of 1053 West Whitner St., Anderson, S.C., and wife of the late Joseph Culpepper, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
     Born in Anderson, S.C., on Sept. 20, 1924, Mrs. Culpepper was a daughter of the late Ernest Brooks Lollis and Jane Montez Lollis. She was retired from McLeoud Rentals with 23 years of service as a bookkeeper and accountant, and was formerly employed with The McDougald Funeral Home as a hostess. She was a member of High Praises Church of God and was a former member of McDuffie Street Church of God.
     She is survived by a daughter, Patricia LaVone Holden of Greenville, S.C; brothers, Ernest Lollis, of Powdersville, S.C., Kenneth Lollis of Anderson, S.C., and Douglas Lollis of Starr, S.C; and a grandson, Patrick Holden of Greenville, S.C.
     In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Ariel Propes; and a sister, Elizabeth Shiflet.
     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, officiated by the Revs. Chris Sustar and Delton Hand. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, Feb. 4, 2005. The McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.1
