Obituary*27 Feb 1991 Shirley Perry Culpepper, 65, of the 1700 block of Parkview Drive, died Feb. 26, 1991, in a hospital. Mrs. Culpepper was a native of Perquimans County. She was the widow of William Thomas Culpepper Jr. and a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Culpepper and Lynn C. Gordon, both of Elizabeth City; two sons, William T. Culpepper III of Edenton and Clifford P. Culpepper of Roanoke, Va; a brother, Cecil F. Garrett Jr. of Gainesville, Fla; and nine grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church by the Rev. Milton Mann and the Rev. Dena White. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. Twiford's Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.4
