Biography* Robert was the son of Johan Heinrich 'Henry' Bachhofer. Henry was born May 10, 1853 in Prussia - Frankfurt, Hessen-Darmstadt, Germany, and died January 20, 1916 in Franklin, Robertson Co., TX. He married Katherine 'Katie' Bentz September 12, 1878 in Franklin, Robertson Co., TX, daughter of Aegidus Bentz and Augusta(?) Stine(r?). She was born March 21, 1855 in Indiana Co., PA, and died November 04, 1942 in Waxahachie, Ellis Co.,TX. Henry came to America with Fred (Fritz), arriving December 31, 1869 on the ship "The Henry".2
