Biography* In 1860, the floor of the chancel of St. Peter's Church, Pembury, was raised two steps, thus concealing an interesting old tombstone of Margeret. Round the edge are the words "Pritz pur lame Margarete la file Sire Thomas Culpeper" written in Lombardic capitals. A drawing of Margaret Culpeper’s tomb can be seen in the British museum.
