Thus Elizabeth's husband, appears to have died prior to 1695. In a will dated 12 Jan 1704 in Christ Church and proved 19 Feb 1704, Joseph Bourne names his friend, Elizabeth Culpeper, widow. In a will dated 12 Dec 1714 in St. Michael and proved 5 Dec 1717, Mary Evans, spinster, names her sister Elizabeth Culpeper as Executrix. In Elizabeth's will of 20 Sep 1720, proved 27 Feb 1720/1, she named: her son Francis Culpeper; daughter Margaret Charnock; grand son George Hurst; son-in-law Samuel Clay and his wife Jane Clay my daughter. |
