| Biography* | He is named in his father's will (1559) 'Walter Culpeper my fourth son.' He seems to have been the first of his family to matriculate at Hart Hall, Oxford, whence he graduated B. A. in 1569 (Foster). He was a1so of Grays Inn, 1565 (Foster) and later was included in the commission of the peace of Oxfordshire. The other records of him are chiefly in the parish register of Handborough, co.
