Biography* Emigrated to Virginia, was a member of the Council in 1657 and married his dau.. (widow of Samuel Filmer) to the first William Byrd of Westover (See Va. Mag., xv, 315; xx, 295, and Dr. Stanard's Byrd pedigree in Bassett, p. 446). - Fairfax Harrison.
