 He was the son of Richard Absalom Pebworth and Tabitha Jane Russell.

Death*7 Jul 1966 He died at Portsmouth (city), Virginia, on 7 Jul 1966.

Biography* Known to friends as "Preacher," Otto served as Baptist Minister throughout Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. For health reasons, he later left the ministry and returned to college to pursue a Degree in Education, to which he later added a Degree in Library Science. He taught at Alexander Park Elementary School in Norfolk County.
