Name-AltSpell This surname is sometimes spelled Culpepper of Barbados.
Birth*after 1682 Mary was born at Barbados after 1682.
Baptism19 May 1711 She was baptized at Saint Philip, Barbados, on 19 May 1711.2,3
Marriage*15 Jun 1711 She married John Ince of Barbados at Saint Philip, Barbados, on 15 Jun 1711.4,3
Married Name15 Jun 1711  As of 15 Jun 1711, her married name was Ince.
Biography* Mary was identified in her father's will, dated 22 Oct 1703, as being under age 21. On 19 May 1711, three Culpepers, presumably all adult as they were not being presented by a parent, were baptized. They were John Culpeper, age 23, William Culpeper, age __ and Mary Culpepper. On the same day, in the next entry in the parish register, is recorded the baptism of Elizabeth Culpeper, daughter of Alleyne. Since there was an Alleyne (maried to Elizabeth), a John, a William and a Mary who were siblings, and children of Alleyne Culpeper and Mary Hedges, it is a reasonable asumption that the otherwise unidentified Mary Culpeper baptized on this date is Mary, daughter of Alleyne and Mary.
