 She was the daughter of Alleyne Culpeper of Barbados and Mary Hedges of Barbados.

Biography* Mary was identified in her father's will, dated 22 Oct 1703, as being under age 21. On 19 May 1711, three Culpepers, presumably all adult as they were not being presented by a parent, were baptized. They were John Culpeper, age 23, William Culpeper, age __ and Mary Culpepper. On the same day, in the next entry in the parish register, is recorded the baptism of Elizabeth Culpeper, daughter of Alleyne. Since there was an Alleyne (maried to Elizabeth), a John, a William and a Mary who were siblings, and children of Alleyne Culpeper and Mary Hedges, it is a reasonable asumption that the otherwise unidentified Mary Culpeper baptized on this date is Mary, daughter of Alleyne and Mary.
