| Biography* | Thomas Culpeper, age 27, gave a deposition on 3 Nov 1662 in the settlement of the estate of Robert Challenger. (Barbados Records Wills and Administrations, Vol. 1, page 69). Thus his date of birth was about 1635. The ancestry of Thomas is merely speculation, but there are no other known possible parents living in Barbados besides the Rev. William Culpeper and Margaret Alleyne. Whoever his parents were, Thomas was probably born in England as there is no evidence of any Culpepers in Barbados as early as 1635. | |
