Presumably he was at least 21, probably older, so he would have been born prior to 1647. The ancestry of Peter is merely speculation, but there were no other known possible parents living in Barbados besides the Rev. William Culpeper and Margaret Alleyne. Whoever his parents were, Peter was probably born in England as there is no evidence of any Culpepers in Barbados as early as 1647. | |
