Biography* Philip's father, George Kopper Colepeper and his family emigrated briefly to Australia, but didn't like it there, so returned to South Africa not very long afterwards. His wife was pregnant with Philip at the time of their emigration. Philip settled in England after the war (his wife was a Londoner).
