Biography* Leigh Brock Scott, 81, of the 200 block of Westonia Road, died Jan. 17, 1997. Born in Smithfield, Va., he was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Scott was a supervisor toll collector for the State of Virginia retiring with 35 years service. Survivors include his wife,
Marjorie Culpepper Scott; a daughter, Marjorie A. Schneider and her husband, Ron, of Suffolk; a sister, Barbara Chapman of Pensacola, Fla; two brothers, Ralph Scott of Blackwood, N.J., Glenn Scott of Smithfield; two grandchildren, Angela H. Marley and her husband, Hugh, of Mission Viejo, Calif., Shelby N. Schneider of Suffolk. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Culpepper Family Cemetery, Old Mill Road, Deep Creek, by the Rev. Billy Lewis. Family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and other times will be at 6403 Old Westham Drive North, Suffolk. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons International or Deep Creek Baptist Church Building Fund. (19 Jan 1997, The Virginian-Pilot.).
