| Biography* | Obituary MACON - Louise "Sissy" Culpepper, 104, of Macon, died Sunday, June 29, 2003. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at 2P.M., at Bellevue Baptist Church with the Dr. Neal Wall officiating. Burial will be in the Sunshine Methodist Church Cemetery, Round Oak, GA. Visitation will be held Monday, June 30, 2003, from 6:00 until 8:00P.M. at Hart's Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bellevue Baptist Church, 305 Napier Avenue, Macon, GA 31204. -Miss Culpepper was born in Jones County and moved to Macon in 1918. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for 40 years. Miss Culpepper was a member of the Emma Brice Sunday School Class, W.M.U. and the Keenage Club. She was a retired Southern Bell telephone clerk and was a member of the Telephone pioneers. Miss Culpepper was the daughter of the late Edmond and Minnie Childs Culpepper. -Survivors: seven nieces, Peggy Fowler and Edna Murphy of Jones County, Jane Gordon of Warner Robins, Margie Barrington of Rex, Kitty Ward of Jonesboro, Ruth Coffer of Chicago, IL; Marie Hillman of Orford, New Hampshire; two nephews, Frank Malone and Marvin Malone of Jones County; 15 great nephews, 23 great nieces, 30 great great nephews, 30 great great nieces and 3 great great great nephews. -Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.5 |
