Biography* Rosalie Culpepper MacDonald, 88, a retired schoolteacher, died Aug. 19, 1991, in an Arlington hospital. Mrs. MacDonald was born in Deep Creek, Va., now part of Chesapeake. She had retired from the Portsmouth public schools at Westhaven Elementary. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lexington. Survivors include her husband, A. Russell MacDonald; two daughters, Sally C. MacDonald and Patricia L. MacDonald, both of Lexington. The graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Culpepper family cemetery, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Roscoe A. Musselwhite. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements. (23 Aug 1991, The Virginian-Pilot).
